Welcome to High Bonanza Community Access

As Brighton Estates continues to grow, maintaining safe and reliable winter access to our homes and properties has never been more important. That's why we formed High Bonanza Community Access, Inc. (HBCA) — an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing consistent, reliable snow removal and winter road maintenance for Brighton Estates property owners, their guests, and the broader public who rely on this route each winter.

HBCA operates independently of any property owners' association and is governed by an all volunteer Board of Directors made up of Brighton Estates property owners.

Our Goals

  • Maintain safe and reliable winter access by securing UDOT and Wasatch County permits, managing winter gate keys, maintaining equipment, coordinating snow removal operations, and fairly compensating equipment operators.

  • Fund winter operations through annual gate key sales and community contributions.

  • Communicate openly and regularly through email newsletters covering operations, finances, and future plans

  • Provide timely winter road updates through our HBCA Plowing Updates GroupMe.

  • Invest in long-term improvements, including summer road maintenance, when reserve funds are available.

  • Organize community cleanup efforts by coordinating and providing volunteer labor to clean up impacts from winter access operations and the public’s recreational use, helping protect and care for our surrounding state park and conservation lands.

Why It Matters

This road doesn't maintain itself — and no government agency, resort, or outside organization is responsible for keeping it open throughout the winter. For years, that responsibility has fallen on our community. HBCA exists to make sure those efforts remain sustainable, equitable, and reliable for years to come.
