Maintaining safe access to Bonanza Flat and Brighton Estates.

High Bonanza Community Access, Inc. (HBCA) is a Utah nonprofit corporation located in Wasatch County, Utah. HBCA’s primary mission is to provide consistent snowplowing and road maintenance services in a financially transparent manner for the benefit of all Brighton Estate’s property owners and their guests, as well as all of the greater public that travels the road in the winter. HBCA operates as an independent organization that is unaffiliated with any property owner’s association and it is governed by a volunteer-based Board of Directors comprised of current Brighton Estates property owners.

Our Mission

The climate on High Bonanza is extreme. Over 500” of snow fall every winter, along with wicked wind storms and subzero temperatures. Maintaining safe roads and routes is a big task. Click the button below to learn more about our Mission Statement and Goals.

Spread the Word

Tell your friends- for over ten years the winter road maintenance above the gate on SR224 in Park City, over Empire Pass to the Pine Canyon junction, has been funded and operated 100% by members of the Brighton Estates community. This is the highest mountain pass in northern Utah to be maintained in the winter- an accomplishment our small community and grassroots organization are very proud of. We have yet to, but hope to some day, get contributions from Park City, the Talisker Club, and Wasatch and Summit counties, as well as from regular individual winter users. We hope that you’ve enjoyed this access over the years, appreciate your support, and look forward to continuing to provide this service for all. Let it snow!
